An exceptional Ribeira Sacra from Abadia da Cova’s oldest Garnacha Tintorera and Mencia vines from slate and granitic soils. Vinification in troncoconic vats followed by ageing on lees for eight months in French, American and Central European oak. Intense cherry colour with deep garnet rim. Complex, aromatic nose of ripe red and black wild fruits, cranberries, cherries, sour orange, violets, with spicy, balsamic herbs, eucalyptus and minerality.Rounded, powerful and delicate with great structure and velvety smooth tannins. A wine of great finesse and elegance with persistence on the finish. A tiny total production of 2800 bottles, each bottle is numbered.
