100% hand-harvested Garnacha Tintorera, a red-fleshed grape, indigenous to Almansa, high in polyphenols producing deep-coloured, high quality wines. Harvested by organic farming methods first week of October from 40-60 year old dry-farmed bush vines planted in cool, sandy plots. Aged 6 months in 100% fine grain American 300lt barrels. Deep purple colour, expressive aromas of cassis, sweet strawberries, raspberries and wild herbs. Full-bodied, juicy with good structure, polished tannins and balanced acidity. Perfect with red meats in rich sauces, roasted game. Great value for money.
