75% Viura & 25% White Garnacha from average 80-year-old vines located in two small vineyards situated close to the villages of Brinas, Haro and San Vicente de la Sonsiera. 100% destemming, pre-fermentation by maceration and pressing, fermentation in oak casks for 16 days with twice-daily stirring of lees (battonage), racking and ageing in same casks. Aged 6 months in new, fine-grain oak casks from northern France with a three-monthly racking. Straw yellow colour with greenish glares. Good intensity of clean ripe citrus fruit, pleasant toasty oak and smoked notes. Dry, light with balanced fruit and wood assemblage, broadening out on the palate and leaving a lingering refreshing taste of toasty ripe fruit notes and citrus hints. Production 12,000 bottles.
